A RAILBLAZA StarPort Mount pair is a set of two mounting brackets that allow you to attach various accessories to surfaces like boats, kayaks, or vehicles. The system is designed so users can easily fit and swap out different accessories by securing the accessory with a locking mechanism to the star-shaped port base. 

 

Key features and functionality

• Versatile mounting: Can be surface or recess mounted on a wide range of surfaces, including power boats, inflatables, kayaks, ATVs, and garages.
• Plug-and-play system: Accessories with a corresponding star-shaped "male" end slide into the "female" StarPort base and are secured with a locking mechanism, similar to a Lego system.
• Modular design: Allows for quick and easy swapping of accessories, such as rod holders, drink holders, or camera mounts.
• Multiple applications: The system is used for many applications, providing a versatile and reliable way to add equipment to your gear.
• Easy installation: Can be installed with either self-tapping screws or machine screws, nuts, and washers, depending on the application. For high-stress applications like trolling rod holders, using washers and lock nuts is recommended.

IMPORTANT: Use of petroleum based lubricants on the StarPort slide will cause failure. Silicone based products are best suited (please check contents of lubricant before using).
