Jetcast Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Looks like a great product - have not used it as yet. Only negative is that the bag is considerably smaller than size advertised
This isn’t my first order with Jetcast but had a small issue with 2 out of 3 reel covers. Paul replied as soon as he received my email and sent out replacements which I received within a couple of days. Great service and apart from this small hiccup they are great products.
The Fish Finder / Sounder covers are an absolute must buy. I have two Garmin Fish Finders on my 2021 Seadoo Fishpro and have not had to replace either unit. Salt water gets in behind the fish finder where it connects and these units have a short shelf-life without one of these Jetcast covers.
I bought these for my 2017 FX HO, but unfortunately they don't fit on the side as the rear bumper is solid with nowhere for the strap to loop onto (without drilling). It does (just) fit along the rear like a bum bag. The canvas material is good quality so I've kept my second one as a general tackle storage bag.
Great size and fits the FXHO very well. However, the zip is definitely not waterproof. A drowned GoPro kit and battery jumper pack spoilt the day. Will be making a small drain hole so the water can at least get out.
Works much better at keeping the high pressure salt water spray from the jet ski off my reels than the Shimano neoprene reel covers I'd previously been using. I also use them when travelling with rods in the car to prevent the reels from scratching each other.
Paul has some awesome products! Have a lot of them myself and he really knows top quality when it comes to ski fishing. Cannot recommend his products enough
Super service and extremely quick at getting products shipped out. Thank you for the prompt service, highly appreciated.
Very handy for clipping my stainless steel tethers onto, as well as having a loop to clip my bare hook or lure onto while travelling or walking to the next fishing spot. I was initially sceptical of putting the rod wrap below the reel (thinking it would slide off the bottom if my rod fell into the water while travelling), but the velcro is very tough and the wrap has great grip on the rod. There is even reinforcing on the end of the wrap to prevent the dog-earing that I get with my Shimano wraps (that don't have the D loop).
I purchased the reel covers and the save me a lot of additional servicing keeping the saltwater blast from the jetski out of the reels, I also purchased the the sounder cover which is equally as good and stops the saltwater blasting into the cables in the rear.
I highly recommend these products
After a couple of trips off shore and going through some swell/waves my Garmin GPS started playing up - I had read that many off shore fisherman needed to replace their GPS's between two and three times as the connections kept on corroding at the back between the Garmin and plug point as they aren't that water tight and the salt water corrodes them.
I am please to say that since I have had the cover I have had no more issues with my GPS
